Banner Ads

Placing a Banner or Button on a website is a much easier and sometimes more cost effective then you would think! To begin, go to a search engine like Google and type in words you would personally type in if you were looking to work from home or if you needed to save money on your health care. Go through the websites that come up in your search results to see if they are selling advertising spots. If so, there will be an advertising link that should give you information about how much it would cost to place ads on their sites. Once you have found the perfect spot (which is the most challenging part about advertising on websites) you simply process payment per the websites instructions and send them an email with your website address you want prospects to be sent to and a banner or button ad attached. 

**IMPORTANT- you will not want to advertise on the same page that another FAHT member is advertising on because you are both using the same marketing site which will cause the two of you to split leads. It is okay to advertising on the same website, just not the same page of that website.

For more great banner images you can google search: work at home images, work at home mom images, dental, medical images, etc. and save each image to your computer. Then follow instructions below.


Instructions for claiming banner ads for yourself. 

1. Right-Click on the image and Save Image As, on your computer.
2. Easiest thing to do is set up a free Photobucket account at Photobucket.com, if you don't have one already.
3. After the account is set up begin uploading the images you saved on your computer to your Library on Photobucket. They will assign it automatically html coding.
4. After you uploaded the images in Photobucket, view each image in your library by clicking on that image. A new screen will pop up with further instructions on the right hand side of the screen in LINKS TO SHARE THIS PHOTO, there will  be four options: Email & IM, Direct, HTML, IMG - you want to hover your mouse in the box next to HTML and click it, it will display copied for a few sections (indicating it copied that gobbledygook letters and numbers.

Then you want to go to say CraigsList as if you were posting a normal ad.

In the body of the ad where you normally type you will paste using Ctrl + V on your keyboard. The letters and numbers appear in your ad. Wait! You are not done yet. You will need to change just the first set of quotation marks and input your domain or icp website:

starting at the < a ref "http://www.apdentalplan.com/yourusername" target=" - for focalpoint users
"http://www.mybenefitsplus.com/your username" target=" - for non-focalpoint users (benefits)

You would do the same for your work at home ICP cites or focalpoint opportunity site. Leave all the rest of the gobbledygook alone.

5. After you fill out the remaining part of the ad, you click continue, it will ask you to add images you just want to click Done With Images. At this point you will see a preview of your your ad, which if you did right should see the image and if you hovered your mouse over the image in the lower left side of screen you will see the website it goes to.

6. Publish your ad, follow instructions from Craigslist if you need to verify your ad via email. That's it. Now people who respond to your ad will automatically be transferred to your website to read all about your opportunity or the benefits.
